Steampunk Gothic Heavy Strong Steel Boned Corset with Zipper

Obviously, this corset is not cheap, but I wanted to go all out for the Renn Faire and this was my centerpiece, so I put the money down. It took a long time to arrive and there was a slight delay in shipping, but I don't think it was the seller's fault. (Something going on with USPS) It showed up the DAY BEFORE I left, thank goodness. Quality: VERY high. It's heavy and dense. I pulled on one of the buckles and it tore loose (which I read in another person's review). But, I pinned it and will sew it back myself. The lacing in the back would be impossible on your own so you need someone to tie you up. Went a little too tight and after a couple hours I was dying so be cognizant of that. Some reviewers wore it with nothing underneath and you absolutely can! But you're going to need bigger boobs. I'm a small B cup (bordering on A) and it would have looked ridiculous because no way I would have filled the cups, so I put a black tank underneath. Frankly, I'm pretty modest so I might have done that anyway. Let me tell you - I got SO MANY compliments. One lady said she was mesmerized, and I reminded her of a character from one of her favorite books. That was fun! I'm going to keep playing with this costume and evolving it, doing more with my hair and makeup, and getting really into the Viking look - and this was a great start toward that. The corset will be a key piece no matter where I go with this.

I was skeptical of buying because of the reviews about sizing/returns. I’m super happy to get the right size after my first purchase!!

I took a chance of ordering size small and it fit perfectly!!! the quality is amazing and it definitely feels like it’s going to last a long time for daily wear. there’s a zipper on the side which will make getting dressed easier after you’ve tied the corset to your comfortability. i do want people to know that the corset waist measurements show in sizing as how cinched it can go!!! (not relaxed) so if you want a super cinched waist size down but keep it mind the corset is made for “flatter chested” women, your breasts will definitely “pop”!! it was a little tight for my chest because i’m sorta chesty but it definitely brought them girls up. if you’re not looking for a “sexy chest” or “cinched waist” look i’d definitely size up!! anyways, 5-Stars!!!! i highly recommend!!! I will be buying more.

I got stuck 2 days before a Halloween party with a futuristic zombie top from Etsy that was 3 sizes too small. So I jumped on Amazon to find something I could get the next day before the party and I found this corset. I am SO glad the other top did not work out because this thing was BEAUTIFUL and heavy and well made. It was perfect for my Pinhead costume. I'm 5'-10" about 210lbs size 14 and normally wear and XL but all that was available was an XXL and it still fit perfectly. I wear a 40D bra so if your chest is smaller, then order your normal size. The XL may have worked idk but what I got fit great. The panel in the back of the corset is about 6" wide so there's plenty of room for adjustment behind the strings. So if you order your normal size or a size up, it should be fine either way. It is heavily boned so it's not the most comfortable thing to wear, but it's definitely worth what you pay for it. The neck wrap fits fine just don't buckle it too tightly. This isn't some cheaply made costume piece. It's bonafide.

My measurements are 49" bust, 35" waist, 50" hips. G cup bra. I went by the sizing chart and it fits pretty well but I'd like it to be tighter in the waist. The laces are completely closed at the bottom, and the compression feels good but if I lose any weight it may be too big. It is also a touch short in the length. If I size down I don't think my chest will fit without spilling out too much. The neck portion is also large but I'm hoping I can alter it some to better accommodate my neck.
